Micu’s performing career includes accompanying singers such as Israeli songwriter Matti Caspi, world renowned singers Esther Ofarim and Noa as well as American jazz singers Dee Dee Bridgewater and Sheila Jordan.

Micu performed at jazz festivals and clubs/concert halls in the following countries: Israel, Canada, The U.S., France, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, South Africa and China. Some of the names with whom Micu performed include Dave Liebman, Drew Gress, Phil Haynes, Ronan Guilfoyle, Erwin Vann, Julian Arguelles, Ellery Eskelin, Tony Rabeson, Rony Holan, Yoni Rechter, Mike Rossi, to name a few.

Micu performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and gave a series of concert/lectures of J.S.Bach’s Goldberg Variations together with Classical piano scholar Benjamin Perl.

Some of Micu’s recordings include a trio recording with New York based musicians Drew Gress and Phil Haynes (A Couch in Brooklyn), a duo with Dave Liebman (Graphic Reality, released on Owl/EMI), duo with Mike Rossi (Common Ground) and solo piano (An Evening of Roses).

Micu’s compositions include works for piano solo, piano/saxophone duo, soprano saxophone solo, string quartet and short pieces for symphony orchestra.
